Volunteering at the Animal Shelter
Since August 2014, I have dedicated my spare time to volunteering at animal shelters throughout South Carolina. My passion and dedication aligns with the shelter's cause in the sense that I hope to find a forever home for all the animals in the shelter and get homeless animals off the streets. These experiences have been life changing and I enjoy spending my time making a difference.
Community Outreach work through Pi Beta Phi Fraternity
As a member of the Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women since Spring 2017, I have had many opportunities to volunteer and participate in community outreach projects. Pi Beta Phi's philanthropic effort is Read > Lead > Achieve which is a foundation based on the love of reading. The main goal is to create a literate and productive society through teaching children to have a love for books and learning. This philanthropic effort along with fundraisers for various events and organizations provided a platform for growth within myself and the society.
